About the Program
Recreation soccer offers an introductory, fun playing environment for players of all skill levels between the ages of 2½-18 years old.
Our Recreation Program uses fields in Raleigh, Cary, Wake Forest, Garner, Durham, Chapel Hill, Holly Springs, Fuquay-Varina, Knightdale, and Chatham County.
Quick Facts:
- Offered in both the Fall (Aug - Oct; Registration opens in May) and Spring (Feb - May)
- Teams are led by volunteer coaches
- Pre-K-Kindergarten: combined practice & game on the weekend
- 1st-12th grade: practice once per week with a game on the weekend

Ages & Formats
Kickstarters - Kindergarten
Our youngest players are introduced to the game through fun, age-appropriate sessions and formats. Kickstarters and Pre-K are coed and Kindergarten where possible is divided into boys' and girls' teams. All activities take place on the weekend.

1st Grade - 12th Grade
These age groups are divided into boys' and girls' teams. They have one weekday (M-F) evening practice with games played on Saturdays and Sunday afternoons

Kickstarters
Kickstarters is an introductory Recreation program for our youngest players aged 2½ to 4. Each session focuses on a skill of the day and uses themed games to promote movement, education, physical coordination, and positive relationships.

Schedules
Recreation teams participate in NCFC Youth's Recreation Scheduling League which is sanctioned by US Club. Game schedules are available to view both through SINC Website as well as your team's PlayMetrics page.
To view Schedules in PlayMetrics, login to your account, click on your Team's page and then on the Games tab at the top.
Field Locations
Players select a designated region during registration, which helps determine team assignment. Our intent is to place players on age appropriate teams in their selected area and use home addresses to try and keep kids who live in the same neighborhood on the same team.

Club Fees
Recreation players will be required to pay the Recreation Club Fee upon registration. Club fees help cover the costs of fields, referees, coaching education, US Club Soccer fees, and program administration.

Families can receive a $50 registration discount by registering for the full year. Discount is applied at check-out when registering for both seasons (Fall and Spring) in the same transaction.
*Discount does not apply to Kickstarters.
Volunteer to Coach
Our coaches are parents, players, former players, family members, and friends of the community looking to provide a fun and active experience in the game of soccer. Our goal at NCFC Youth Recreation is to create a fun, nurturing environment for our players to develop their love for the game and create lasting friendships and a lifetime of memories.
