Juniors prepares players to progress at the Classic level and beyond through a dedicated coaching staff that provides quality, age appropriate instruction at these key age groups. Juniors is the most competitive program offered for U8 - U10 players. The focus is on development of the individual player in a group setting, and a low coach-to-player ratio allows for consistent player support.
Our Juniors Program and coaches are led by Juniors Director Etienne Boulanger and Assistant Director Doug Prewett as well as regional directors.
Quick Facts:
Juniors is a 9-month program made up of 3 seasons: fall, winter, and spring. Fall (August to beginning of November) and Spring (February to April) are the primary seasons for the Juniors program. Juniors players train twice a week (Monday and Thursday) 90 minutes each training session.
Evaluations Registration
All new players interested in our Juniors Program must create an account in PlayMetrics in order to register for the 2025-26 evaluations. (Parents/Guardians should create an account in their name and add each child as a participant.) If you already have an existing PlayMetrics account, please login to register.
In order to be evaluated for Juniors, you must complete an Intent to Play registration. We will reach out to all players registered for evaluations the week before they begin. If you have any questions, please email Juniors Director
Etienne.Boulanger@NCFCYouth.
Current Juniors players do not need to attend Evaluations.
We will be holding Evaluations the week of April 28 for players born in 2018, 2017, and 2016. Dates and times are linked below.
Evaluations are a two-day event, players are expected to attend both days.
Top 2016 players identified at Junior Evaluations will be invited to the Junior Elite teams. Junior Elite Teams will be formed in each region depending upon quality of players at Evaluations and the Director's discretion.
These teams will function similar to a 2015 Classic team:
• Train 3x week
• Have team managers, team fees
• Attend 2 tournaments
