RECREATION COACHES

Our coaches are parents, former players, family members, and friends of the community looking to provide young players with a fun and active experience in the game of soccer. Our goal at NCFC youth Recreation is to create a fun, nurturing environment for our players to develop their love for the game and create lasting friendships and a lifetime of memories.

Becoming a Volunteer Coach

Please complete the following action steps if you are interested in becoming a volunteer coach with NCFC Youth Recreation:


`1. Complete the Coaching Interest Form (see below)

2. Complete Recreation Coach Form to be received via PlayMetrics

3. Our staff will connect you with the GotSport Platform and instructions on how to complete the Background Screening required by US Soccer and NCFC Youth.

4. Coach Education

  • Mandatory: SafeSport is a program designed to keep athletes of all sports safe from misconduct. This online course is focused on protecting minors from misconduct and abuse. NCFC Youth believes that education and awareness are vital in eliminating misconduct in sport.

NCFC Youth partners with MOJO, the best resource for coaches of young athletes - providing compelling, easy-to-follow, world-class instruction through game-changing technology, so you can give your players the best with less work and stress.

PlayMetrics

PlayMetrics is designed to make it easier for Coaches to coach. All PlayMetrics features are fully integrated into a single application that is available through a desktop computer or mobile phone (app).

Scoreboard Soccer

Develop players through play and praise. The Scoreboard Soccer App introduces a fun and motivational activity to small-sided games. At the coach's discretion players will be praised for their effort during the games by being sent to the "Scoreboard". Rewarding such behaviors will likely motivate players to repeat them.
